Training
I’m an avid learner. I love learning. Not only am I passionate about science and technology, but my interests extend into the digital arts and communication.
I have Pluralsight, LinkedIn Learning, and The Great Courses memberships, as well as access to the leading colleges in London.
I’m not afraid to tackle something unusual, unsettling, challenging because there is always a learning to be had.
Certification
I have twenty-four Microsoft certifications, and have been awarded fourteen Professional, Solution, and Specialist Microsoft recognised roles. Subjects include legacy technologies such as Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual C++ 6.0 and their associated solution architectures.
Modern certifications include .NET disciplines such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Applications, ASP.NET MVC, as well as core web development such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
Technical
I’ve bolstered my Microsoft Certifications with Pluralsight training. I’ve completed over thirty-two technical Pluralsight courses.
Subjects include ASP.NET, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and Asynchronous techniques.
Digital Media
As some technical skills, especially GUI design, are embellished by having a sound understanding of the digital media, I’ve recently strengthened my digital media skillset.
I’ve completed twenty-three Pluralsight courses in subjects such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, graphic design, and colour theory.
I have also learnt to photograph, shoot video, and record sound to a professional standard at local colleges.
Digital Marketing
Having a sound understanding of digital marketing is critical to business success. I’ve recently added this skillset by completing fourteen LinkedIn training courses.
Subjects include marketing and advertising using Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, as well as courses in SEO and Ads, Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager.
