Cable & Wireless were a leading international telecommunications company, with customers in 80 countries. It provided IP, voice and data services to business customers, and to residential customers, as well as services to other telecoms carriers, mobile operators and providers of content, applications and internet services.

The company was split in 2010 into Cable & Wireless Communications and Cable & Wireless Worldwide, the latter acquired by Vodafone in 2012.
