I am a .NET 4.0 and .NET 2.0 Microsoft Desktop Certified Solution Developer and a .NET 4.0 and .NET 2.0 Web Solution Certified Developer, which includes certification in technologies such as MVC4, MVVM, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, Threading, JQuery, JavaScript, WCF, WPF, LINQ, SQL Server, TDD, Entity Framework, and Desktop and Web solution architectures. I have twenty-three Microsoft Certifications.

I have over twenty-five years experience in delivering solutions across a broad range of industries, including finance, telecommunications, engineering, and media. Financial sector experience includes investment banking, retail banking, asset management, and interdealer brokerage.

Broad Technical Expertise

I have designed and developed client and server side applications and services, including WPF, winforms, MVC, web forms, classic ASP, Excel automated systems, Windows services, server components, classic web services, and WCF services. I have developed and maintained intranets, extranets, as well as Internet sites. I have developed and maintained database solutions using SQL Server, Oracle, Access, and even dBase!

Technical Author

I have experience as a technical author and I am used to working closely with business users and business analysts, helping them gather and define business requirements. I have drafted, proofed and released user and technical manuals for hardware and software systems, written copy for promotional material and bids, and authored feasibility, system architecture, and support documentation.

Recent Experience

Recent experience includes architecting and delivering a SOA framework for an interdealer broker over a period of six years. This involved researching and recommending solutions and technologies, working closely with business users and vendors, integrating different technologies by building adapters, and designing and building quality, real-time dashboards that offered real benefit for business users.
